Land & Treaty Acknowledgment Statement

We acknowledge with respect the history, culture and language of the peoples with whom Treaty One was signed and the land upon which the Interlake School Division resides. We acknowledge our responsibility as Treaty members and honour the heritage and gifts of Métis people. We acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and commit to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous peoples and communities in a spirit of collaboration and reconciliation.
