Grade 5/6 students at Stony Mountain School had the pleasure of welcoming a special guest, Laine Wilson, who introduced an amazing project that we’re thrilled to be a part of. Laine is heading to Ottawa this fall to advocate for Parks and Recreation – and she will be doing it in style, wearing a unique coat designed with help from our class! Each student is contributing an illustration that represents what makes Canada Strong. These Powerful and Creative images will be featured on her coat, turning it into a wearable message of unity and pride.
