On Friday, December 5, the leadership team at Collège Stonewall Collegiate hosted its annual Passing on the Cheer event, bringing together volleyball teams from the community and surrounding areas for an evening of fun and giving back.

The event welcomed teams in three categories:

  • Middle Years: 10 teams
  • High School: 18 teams
  • Adult: 8 teams

Through registration and donations, the event raised $4,000 for the Christmas Cheer Board. In addition, students collected tins and non-perishable food items to create hampers that will be delivered to the organization this week. Passing on the Cheer was more than just a volleyball tournament—it was a celebration of community spirit. The positive energy was evident among participants and spectators alike, showcasing the generosity of coming together to support those in need.
