Interlake School Division 2026-2027 Final Budget

Collège Stonewall Collegiate Blanket Exercise
Collège Stonewall Collegiate’s grade 11 History classes invited our Divisional Indigenous Lead Teacher, Ms. Simcoe, along with our Woods teacher Mr. Groves to facilitate a Blanket Exercise that inspired a deeper knowledge and understanding of past Treaty agreements. Passing on the Cheer at Collège Stonewall Collegiate
On Friday, December 5, the leadership team at Collège Stonewall Collegiate hosted its annual “Passing on the Cheer” event, bringing together volleyball teams from the community and surrounding areas for an evening of fun and giving back. The event welcomed teams in three categories: Middle Years: 10 teams High School: 18 teams Adult: 8 teams Through registration and donations, the event raised $4,000 for the Christmas Cheer Board. Equitable Opportunities at Warren Elementary School
The Warren Elementary School Grade 2 class worked hard in the 2024-2025 school year to write and illustrate their own book, “Animals of the Alphabet”. Each student took responsibility for their own page, which was dedicated to a specific letter. They joined Mrs. Margetts to celebrate receiving the published copy this week! Learning opportunities in Woodlands School are becoming more equitable because this year students are learning to have a better understanding of themselves, and see themselves reflected in the culture and community of our school. Caring for Watersheds
Caring for Watersheds is a provincial competition in which students create an action project to make their community a more environmentally friendly place. Out of 300 projects submitted Kiera Schutz came in second place! Her project will be implemented at Warren Collegiate Institute and Warren Elementary School and she won $900! Congratulations Kiera!
